National – Scarlet Alliance

Touching Base is an Associate Member Organisation of Scarlet Alliance and a national, not-for-profit, un-funded charity working at the intersection of sex work and disability. The organisation provides advocacy, training, and tailored resources to support connections between sex workers and people with disability. Touching Base advocates for access, human rights, and the reduction of stigma and discrimination faced by both communities. They facilitate a national referral program, connecting people with disability to sex workers, and maintain a database of trained and experienced sex workers. The organisation also delivers professional disability awareness training for sex workers, as well as training for disability support workers and other allied health providers to support their clients with safer, non-judgemental access to sex worker services.
