Sex Work; Education, Advocacy and Rights (SWEAR) is a peer-led organisation working to reduce stigma and discrimination towards sex workers in Western Australia. SWEAR raises community awareness, undertakes consultations with government and non-government bodies, and advocates for the full decriminalisation of sex work. Operating without government funding, SWEAR is driven by the expertise and commitment of sex workers who volunteer their time. The organisation provides in-person and online peer support and education, and offers referrals to sex worker–friendly health, legal, and financial services. SWEAR also delivers sex worker awareness training to the broader community, including healthcare providers, educational institutions, and other services, to promote understanding and reduce stigma and discrimination.
